With tumescent liposuction, we first inject the area with a solution of lidocaine and epinephrine. The solution works to both numb and vasoconstrict the part of your body we’ll be working on. We then make a small incision and insert a cannula, a thin tube connected to a vacuum-type machine, which sucks out your fat and excess tissue.
